PixWithMe app for iPhone and iPad

PixWithMe is a new mobile photo sharing app for anyone who wants to immediately collect, display, and share photos from numerous individuals around one event or gathering. Until now people have wanted to create albums from events but have not had an easy and fast way to collect photos taken by a broad group of participants. Why have one person as the photographer when you can leverage the crowd?

For example, how would you collect and display the pictures taken by all guests at a wedding? What about family gatherings, reunions, parties, or sporting events? The most common answer is “I don’t know it’s too hard” or “We email them around” We have asked this question of many people and have not heard a good and simple answer.

PixWithMe is a fast, fun, free, and easy way to instantly gather photos from all people at an event by creating a PixBoard. PixBoards are a bulletin board of pictures uploaded by many different people. Pixboards can require a photo upload approval process and can be password protected if desired. Pixboard users can be invited via email or Facebook.

Here is how it works:

Simply log into PixWithMe using your Facebook login. Pixboards can display boards that your Facebook friends manage and friends can be invited to boards in Facebook or using email.

Click on Create to make a PixBoard,and with three easy steps you can Nameyour board – for example “Halloween Party”; set a Password if you want the board to be private; and type in a Board Description for others to see such as “Welcome to my Halloween Party board, please upload your pictures”. You can add photos either by taking them with your mobile device or uploading from one of your existing photo libraries. Now you can invite others either through your Facebook Friends or by email. They will receive a note with a link to your board. Once they click the link, they are in and are free to add photos to the PixBoard. That is all you have to do!

There are three other categories which you have the option to click or not:

Accept Photo Submissions:
If the box is checked your board is ready for others to add their photos

Require approval:
If this box is checked only photos you approve will be displayed in the board

Hide Board:
If checked this option will allow your board to be hidden and not viewed in the listings in the PixWithMe app.
